Levi's Jeans Size Guide 2026 — W/L Chart for Women & Men

Their W/L inch system trips up European shoppers every time — especially because the W number on the label refers to your waist in inches, not centimetres, and the stretch after washing changes things further. Understand W and L
Levi's labels show W (waist in inches) and L (leg length in inches). W30 L32 means 30-inch waist (76 cm) and 32-inch inseam (81 cm). Divide your waist in cm by 2.54 to get your W size.

Convert EU to W size
Women: EU 36 ≈ W26, EU 38 ≈ W27-28, EU 40 ≈ W29-30, EU 42 ≈ W31-32. Men: EU 46 ≈ W30, EU 48 ≈ W31-32, EU 50 ≈ W33-34, EU 52 ≈ W35-36.

Choose the right length
L28 fits under 5ft 5in (165 cm). L30 fits 5ft 5in–5ft 7in (165–170 cm). L32 fits 5ft 7in–5ft 10in (170–178 cm). L34+ fits over 5ft 10in (178 cm).
